Duncan Enterprises is a family-owned, family-based business.
Our story unfolds with a simple ceramic bowl my grandmother Erma Duncan received in 1938. This inspired her to experiment and share what she learned with friends and students in her garage. Her dream quickly grew into a full-fledged business. Her sons Bob (my father) and Dick (my uncle) joined to help with business administration, design and manufacturing. I joined the company when I was 15, learning the business from the ground up. I became President in 1983.
Today, the 4th generation of our creative family continues my grandmother’s vision of artistic expression. My daughter Summer worked after high school in Creative Design, fashioning original designs for magazines and websites, and my son Hawk works in Information Technology while attending the local university.
